  4. LPD ports allow Workplace Shell printer icons to be redirected to remote LPD 
  5. printers.  Before print jobs can be submitted to an LPD port, the LPRPORTD 
  6. program must be running.  Use the Autostart page of the TCP/IP Configuration 
  7. Notebook to have LPRPORTD started automatically.  The TCP/IP Configuration 
  8. Notebook is in your TCP/IP folder. 
  9.  
  10. To configure your LPD port, simply fill in the appropriate fields. Some fields 
  11. are required, such as LPD Server and LPD Printer, and others are optional.  For 
  12. a detailed explanation of each option, select from the list below:
